"I graduated from UNH in 2019 with a B.S. in Social Work. My mother grew up in the system due to neglect; her stories and experiences brought my attention to the human services field from a young age. I wanted to be the positive support that a child like her needed, but unfortunately never had.
When I applied to work at The Webster House; I didn't know what to expect. What I came to find was a program filled with so much love and compassion for kids going through an otherwise very dark time in their lives. From big activities in the community to family-style dinners Webster House immediately felt more like a "home" than any other program I had seen. It was heartwarming to see the number of former residents who kept in contact with staff; and have since been fortunate enough to be able to form my own lasting bonds. The staff here are more like family than co-workers- and are the biggest group of goof balls. I feel very lucky to be a part of this amazing program and help reach kids who need safety, structure, and support until their next step."
