On-call rotation every 5–6 weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Director to join our leadership team—an
experienced, trauma-informed clinician who is passionate about working with at-risk
youth and committed to high-quality, individualized care.

In this key role, you will oversee clinical operations, lead a small therapeutic team,
provide direct counseling, and ensure that our program continues to meet state
licensing standards and best practices in youth residential care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee all aspects of clinical care for up to 19 youth in residence.

​

  • Manage intakes, conduct clinical interviews, and maintain accurate and timely documentation (e.g., biopsychosocial assessments, CANS assessments, safety and treatment plans, discharge summaries).
     

  • Provide weekly individual therapy for up to 10 youths.
     

  • Coordinate clinical groups weekly and document group progress.
     

  • Lead monthly team meetings and quarterly treatment plan reviews.
     

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including CPSWs, CASA/GALs, DJJS, BCBH, and Waypoint.
     

  • Supervise and mentor two Case Managers and a Clinician, providing bi-weekly clinical supervision.
     

  • Assist with monthly reporting and treatment planning.
     

  • Offer crisis intervention and support during scheduled hours and via on-call rotation (every 5-6 weeks).
     

  • Facilitate family involvement, including counseling and family meetings as appropriate.
     

  • Ensure clinical services comply with all NH Residential Licensing regulations.


Qualifications

  • Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy.

  • ​

  • Must possess or be eligible for LICSW, LCMHC, LCP, or LMFT licensed in New Hampshire (required by NH residential licensing).

  • ​

  • Experience working with youth who have significant trauma and behavioral health needs.

​

  • Previous experience in clinical leadership or a supervisory role.

​

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and therapeutic best practices.

​

  • Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills.

​

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid NH driver’s license and a safe driving record (required by NH residential licensing)

​

  • Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting as required by state residential licensing.
